Azra's personal history deals with some disturbing topics. Most notably, slavery and CSA. The application does not delve into great detail into the CSA, and will likely be skimmed over if ever brought up in character, but the themes nonetheless exist as a condemnation to the typical tropes.

World info:
In the world of Iden, there is a nation called Sengeis. It's a typical high-fantasy world, and Sengeis is your typical monarchy. However, it's plagued with numerous problems: dragons, a Dark Lord intent on conquest, monsters... but none are a greater threat than that which would aim to solve those problems, the Heroes. They arrive from another world, wielding power beyond that of any mortal man or woman, and having an unnatural charisma that makes any bow to them or swoon in their presence, no matter how lacking in actual charm, social graces, or presence they might actually be. The people who don't fall under their sway call them Invaders, and several have formed a force to beat them back, the Invader Defense Force.
History:
Azra was a slave for as long as she could remember, kept by the slavers on the outskirts of civilized society. When she was 10, a foreign man named Sakamoto, but calling himself an “Isekai Hero,” arrived. Briefly, she thought this self-proclaimed hero would free her, but instead he bought her, declaring her his “loli catgirl slave!” He named her “Kitty,” as she had no name as merchandise, which she resented - it was demeaning, rude, and showed how she was nothing more than property, or a pet.
She was rescued from this by Princess Camiel and what would eventually become the Isekai Defense Force, but not before suffering at the hands of her former master, a “hero” in self-proclaimed title only. For sake of clarity, there was CSA involved, and that's all that needs to be said on that.
She immediately volunteered to help Camiel and her people take down others like that hero. She was given a new, better name - Azra, for death - and has nursed her grudge against isekai heroes and anybody who would view people as little more than pawns, pieces, property, or tools. She honed that grudge and her skills as the IDF - the Invader Defense Force - formed around her, Camiel, and the few soldiers Camiel had recruited.
She picked up the axe, and spent seven years fighting off Invaders, as they came to be called. Learning how they operate, what skills they had in common, what skills they might individually be capable of, and how to kill them. She suffered her share of injuries over the course of the years (including one extremely prominent scar on her face) because the Invaders are ALWAYS stronger.
But it was a war without end. No matter how many Invaders they killed, there were always more arriving, brought in by the greater god OTAkami. But the IDF didn't falter, they accrued successes, fighting off self-proclaimed heroes with nothing but self-gain on their minds. One of their more recent successes was in rescuing a girl named Momo, the sister of an Invader who was brought along as a... 'love interest.'
Their greatest challenges lie in the future still, though.
Canon point: A few months after rescuing Momo
Age: 17
Personality: Azra is, in summary, an extremely angry girl. Her primary motivation and drive, in everything she does and in life itself, is her grudge and her hatred toward the so-called "isekai heroes," the Invaders. She personally suffered under their hands, and she witnessed countless others do so as well. She harnesses these feelings to accomplish great things, to fight and train harder than anybody else.
Her hatred and anger can cause problems. She has a very concrete and negative view of people entering other worlds, rather than actually judging people by their own merits. She also has a lot of feelings about the things she was faced with herself, such as slavery or child assault, and won't hesitate to flip the murder switch when those things are involved. In addition, she has strong feelings about being treated like a cat, since that was something the hero Sakamoto did with her.
When not dealing with those sorts of issues, though, Azra is fairly laidback. She cares deeply and fights hard for things that matter, but with things that matter less, she's content to simply remain idle and let things happen. This might be because she has a grander view of what matters, so she thinks anything less doesn't need to be bothered with.
All this aside, Azra's had a rather eclectic upbringing. She's been a companion to a literal princess since being rescued at ten, and sat in with Camiel and her tutors, meaning despite being a slave for the first ten years of her life, Azra's actually extremely well educated. However, she also completely ignored most lessons when they involved things like navigating high society or... basic manners. Reading and math and even history could all be important, but why does she need to know which fork to use and when to not eat things off the ground?
Having been with the IDF since its inception, being practically raised around them, Azra is well-used to being part of a large military organization, and even having seniority within one. She might not always follow orders, but she is familiar with things like chain of command or marching or military campaigns in general. It's just another part of her unusual upbringing.
If asked if she wants to have a normal life, Azra might say yes. That's why she's fighting. But the truth of the matter is, Azra has never experienced anything like a normal life. She was a slave, and then she was fighting Invaders, and between those two that's all she's ever known. If suddenly presented with an idealized scenario where she's free of fighting and obligation, she wouldn't know what to do. So she'll keep fighting, throwing herself into danger, until there's nothing left.
Character changes:
Being exposed to other trains of thought might be beneficial to Azra. She's going to be hella suspicious for a LONG while, though. Beyond that, I'm not sure what might actually change, and look forward to seeing what happens.
Capabilities:
Improbable Axe Skills: Azra comes from a fantasy world where anime action sequences are not unheard of. However, the capabilities of a normal person in this setting, even an extremely well-trained one, pale when compared to something like a shounen hero - or more pointedly, an isekai hero. To summarize, Azra's skills are well beyond anything from real life, but a full lower category than improbable anime heroes.
Physical Abilities: As above, Azra is stronger and more agile than most people in real life would be, due to the nature of her world and her improbable training. However, while she easily wields her GIANT AXE in battle, swinging it around as if it were merely an afterthought, that's as far as it goes. She couldn't lift a giant boulder or leap over an entire building.
Specialized Training: However, despite being weaker than the isekai heroes brought into her world, she is very highly specialized in fighting against them. In other words, her training and tactics are specially suited for taking down people much stronger in a straight-up fight than she is. That is, assuming she follows the tactical solution...
Berserker: Azra lets anger overtake her in battle, entering something akin to a berserker state. It's not nearly as great as a D&D equivalent, though - it does let her ignore some amount of pain or injury, but it doesn't actually make her stronger or fight better, and it clouds her judgment and tactical planning as well.
Axe: Azra's axe was forged by the master Dwarven smith, Snori. It has three runes, one of them a Master Rune, which grant her axe magical properties. Her axe currently has Master Rune of Immolation, a Rune of Conduction, and a Rune of Impact, allowing her axe to hit harder, burst into flames, and scorch anything she strikes with it. It's quite possible her axe will be replaced with a different magical axe at future points.

Oct. 17th, 2019 10:15 am[OOC]
Backtagging: I'm fine with tagging threads with slow activity unto eternity, but not thread necromancy, if that makes sense.
Threadhopping: Actively encouraged for less serious threads, ask permission for the serious stuff
Fourthwalling: No
Offensive subjects (elaborate): It's all good
[IC]
Hugging this character: She will probably NOT react well, but go ahead
Kissing this character: She will DEFINITELY not react well, so let's discuss
Flirting with this character: Keep in mind she's 17, has exactly ZERO experience, but also that she might have somebody else in mind already
Fighting with this character: Yes this is appropriate
Injuring this character: Anything like, naturally coming about through a conflict we've already discussed is fine. Anything major or coming out of nowhere let's discuss
Killing this character: Let's talk about it
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Go for it.
[POST HERE IF:]
Azra's backstory might touch on some touchy subjects. Respond here if you want me to avoid the following:
Offensive Subjects: Slavery, child abuse, child sexual assault (extremely unlikely to come up, and never in detail), incest (not for her personally, but related to the siscon anime trope)
Psuedo-Fourth-Wall: Azra's entire canon is explicitly about people getting "isekai"ed, and the people who arrive in her world refer to it as such. If this is too weird or meta, respond to let me know not to tag your character, as it'll be next to impossible to never mention.

[CHARACTER]
Name: Azra
Series: Isekai Defense Force (original canon)
Race: Beastfolk (feline subtype)
Age: 17
Impression: Your first impression should be "this is a cat who does not like me, and I will get clawed by approaching without extreme caution."
Description: A tall-ish teenage catgirl, standing at 5'9". Fairly lean, with defined muscles. She's still got a little bit of teenage gangliness though, because she's not done growing. Short black hair, cat ears on top of her head, no human ears because that'd be weird. Tanned skin. A prominent facial scar running from above her left eye down to the opposite side of her jaw. Several other visible scars exist depending on what she's wearing; she has several on each arm that are usually visible because her normal shirt is sleeveless.
